Although Guests are kindly requested to opt for elegant fabrics and styles, dancing is compulsory highly encouraged, so please wear something that you feel comfortable moving in; the bride will not be wearing heels and encourages others to follow suit (or dress?)

The evening will officially begin with the newly married couple's entrance, accompanied by a traditional 'Zaffe' (really loud drumming).
Please arrive at Maramia by 9:00 PM, where you'll be welcomed with light refreshments and hearing protection.

Maramia Cafe is a Palestinian restaurant and Bar with some of the best Arabic food in London. The menu for the evening will be served family-style, including the following dishes:

Getting to Maramia Café
BY Tube
By Train
Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. This is the closest station (about 4-5 mins walk). Ladbroke grove is not step-free
Circle and Hammersmith & City lines (about 8 mins walk).
Central, Circle and District lines. About 15 minutes on foot. This station is a bit further but offers additional lines.

Notting Hill Gate station
Note that only the Central line (via Notting Hill Gate) runs 24-hour service on Friday Nights. The Circle and Hammersmith & City lines do not run overnight (last eastbound train from Ladbroke Grove is around midnight). you may need to use Night buses or head to Notting Hill Gate for the Central line’s Night Tube service.
National Rail & Elizabeth Line Services run from here, including a direct train to Oxford. From Paddington, you can get to Maramia via the Tube: take the westbound Hammersmith & City/Circle line to Ladbroke Grove (see below)

By Car
located under the Westway flyover near Portobello Road. This car park is open 24/7 and is a few minutes' walk away from the cafe. It also offers short-term and overnight parking. you can pre-book a space via NCP, or park on arrival.


By Bus
The 7 (24-hour service) and 70 buses Both stop at the “Portobello Road” bus stop on Westbourne Park Road near the Café. Route 7 runs between East Acton and Oxford Circus (via Paddington), and Route 70 runs between Acto and South Kensington, so they are convenient from Central London or West London.
